Amara Finney

Amara Marie Finney, 9, of Bloomington passed away at 5:13 PM Thursday, September 24, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Her life will go on in the hearts of so many.  People will say that she’s “whole” now in heaven, but I believe she was “whole” here on this earth.  I believe she was exactly everything she was meant to be.
Amara was born January 31, 2006 in Peoria, the daughter of Brandy L. Finney and Jeremy L. Church.  She is survived by her mother, Brandy of Bloomington; her father, Jeremy of Missouri; maternal grandparents, Ruth (David French) Finney of Flanagan and Andrew Krasnican of Streator; paternal grandparents, Sandy Hankins of Texas and Curt Hankins of Hudson; maternal great grandparents, Jim (Alice) Mort of Petoskey, MI and George (Mary) Krasnican, Karen Reneer, and Annabel Finney all of Streator; uncles, Sam Krasnican of Streator and Dustin (Jessica) Krasnican of Minooka; and aunts, Shelly (Mark) Wisz of Algonquin and Ashley Hankins of Normal.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, John Finney and maternal great grandfathers, Larry Finney and Charles Reneer.
Her funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, September 28, 2015 at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Lori Bultemeier officiating.  Cremation rites will be accorded after the service.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Easter Seals in Bloomington.
