Carol J. Thompson

Carol J. Thompson, 84 of Streator passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Carol was born March 6, 1939 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Streator, a daughter of Mario and Madeline (Sosh) Manfroi.  She married Wayne Thompson on November 15, 1958.  He survives.

Also surviving are their children, David (Paula) Thompson, Briann (Jill) Thompson, Sally (Jack) Libby, and Janet (Brian) Buchanan; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter at birth, Mary Jean Thompson.

Carol’s long love of animals always put a smile on her face.  She was loved very much, and she will be missed.

There will be no services.  Cremation rites have been entrusted to Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
