Corey "Bundy" Inman

Corey “Bundy” Inman, 52 of Streator passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, April 19, 2024 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator.  An additional visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.  Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Rodney Kreier officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Patton, Chris Patton, Nick Libby, Derek Stull, David Stull, Doug Schmitt, Benny Price, Bruce Smith, Patrick Duffy, and Cary Bryan.  Cremation rites will follow the services.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Corey was born July 26, 1971 in Streator, the son of Mitchell Frank Inman and Kathy (Faustner) Inman. 

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Inman of Streator; his father, Mithell Inman of New Waverly, TX; a step-brother, Matthew Inman of California; aunts and uncles; and several cousins.  Also surviving is his God Child, Ella Schmitt.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Joan (Reed) Faustner; and paternal grandparents, Frank and Vivian (Salvesen) Inman.

Corey attended the Streator schools and graduated from Streator Township High School.  He received an Automotive Technology Degree from Southern Illinois University.

Corey had worked for Randy Weiben Auto, Vactor, Collision Revision in Bloomington, and currently at Streator Tire and Repair as an auto mechanic.  

Corey was an avid train watcher and Model Railroader.   He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Gate SG1, and Harry Potter “geek”.  

Corey was everyone’s go to guy for auto mechanics.  But, most of all, he loved his Mom!
