Cynthia Anderson

Cynthia Jean Anderson, 66 of Streator passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Heritage Health, Streator.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator, with Rev. Rodney Kreier officiating.  Inurnment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Cynthia was born December 23, 1954 in Streator, a daughter of Virgil E. and Lois J. (McCauley) Anderson.

She is survived by a daughter, Kira Lee (Kaywin) Pfeffinger of Streator; two sons, Gary (Ashley Hall) Carmean Jr. of Normal and Blake (Kim) North of Pontiac; and two grandchildren, Kalycia Pfeffinger and Cassandra North.  Also surviving are three sisters, Laura Anderson and Marcia (John) Hallam both of Streator and Jaci Anderson of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Eric Eugene Anderson; and a sister, Christina Rose Defenbaugh.

Cynthia was a member of the Central Church of Christ.  She was a dedicated CNA and Care Giver at several area nursing homes.
