Desiderio Longoria

Desiderio Longoria Sr., 56, of Streator passed away at 11:25 AM Tuesday (January 17, 2017) at O.S.F. St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Friday and from 9-11 AM Saturday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

He was born October 13, 1960 in Brownsville, TX to Guadalupe & Angelina (Olivo) Longoria.  He married the former Benita Garcia in 1985 in Brownsville, TX.  She survives.

He is also survived by his children:  Mary Longoria (Martin Guiterrez) of Streator, Desiderio (Marcela) Longoria Jr. of Streator, Jennifer Longoria (Marco Lopez) of Streator and Gregory S. Longoria of Streator; 13 grandchildren:  Angel, Marely, Jonathan, Kamy, Marco Jr, Daisy, Kayla, Mia, Guadalupe, Luis, Noah, Chris, Martin Jr and 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
