Dixie Judd

STREATOR-  Dixie L. Judd 80 of Peoria formerly of Streator died Sunday evening (Nov. 24, 2013) at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday at Hagi Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Judd was born Oct. 13, 1933 in Sherrard Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Leatha (Fortune) Stark. She married Billy G. Judd Nov. 25, 1951 in Magnolia. He preceded her in death May 4, 2004.
Dixie had been employed at McGraths Frozen Foods, Streator prior to her moving to Peoria in 2007. She was an ardent environmentalist, loved to read, listen to music, watch the Bulls and was an enthusiastic Christian. She attended several different grade schools and was a graduate of Magnolia High School class of 1951.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (loving companion Cathy LaPointe and her two children Hayden and Will LaPointe) Judd, DeKalb and Mike Judd, Peoria, one granddaughter Shawn (Shawn) Sudaj, Granville, great granddaughter, Drew and great grandson Colin Sudaj, as well as several precious nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Jean Turnbaugh and Rosemary Willard and one brother Tom Stark.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
