Eva Cusac

Eva S. Cusac, 94, of Kangley, passed away at 12:20 PM Saturday (November 26, 2016) at Heritage Health in Streator.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM Tuesday at the Hagi Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.

She was born July 23, 1922 in Kangley, IL to Steve and Susan (Butchko) Durgach.  She married Robert Louis Cusac on November 15, 1947 at Annunciation B.V.M. Church.  He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter:  Suzanne Marie Cusac of Pontiac; nieces:  Jeanine (Mike) Foltin of Streator, Maryanne (Donnie) Williams of Kangley and Beverly (John) Rogers of Trenton, IL; nephews:  Jim (Debbie) Durgach of Streator and Bill Kusnerik of Peoria; numerous great nieces and nephews and her caretaker, Alice (Bill) McKim of Streator.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; a son Thomas Cusac and 8 brothers and 2 sisters.

She graduated from Streator High School and had formerly worked at Owen’s-Illinois Glass.  She was a former member of Annunciation B.V.M. Church.  She enjoyed reading and visiting with her daughter.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
