Evelyn Hlavacek

STREATOR-  Evelyn Louise “Evie” Hlavacek 93 of Streator formerly of  Bismarck, N. Dakota died Saturday evening (Jan. 18, 2014) at Heritage Health, Streator.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Rev. John Gutz, officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday at Hagi Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Hlavacek was born Dec. 20, 1920 in Clark County S. Dakota the daughter of Myron and Josephine (Lien) German. She married Maurice Hlavacek I who preceded her in death.
Evelyn was a homemaker. She was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church while living in Bismarck and had attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church after moving to Streator.
Evie had lived at Evergreen Place and Heritage Health the past two years and loved the staff and care she received.
She is survived by one daughter, Marie Hlavacek, Watertown S. Dakota, one brother-in-law. Clint Peters, Streator one niece. Marjo (Don) Simons, Bloomington and one nephew, Mike (Melissa) Peters, Streator, great niece Catherine Peters, and great nephews, Jake and Jared Simons and Sean Peters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Maurice Hlavacek II and one sister, Lois Peters.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Memorial may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
