Genevieve "Jenny" Brogdon

Genevieve “Jenny” Brogdon, 82 of Streator passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Arc at Streator.

 Jenny was born on July 30, 1942 in Ripley, TN, a daughter of Eskell and Ollie (Hodge) Crook. She married Harold D. Brogdon on March 4, 1960 in Ripley, TN. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2022.

 Surviving are two daughters, Barbara (Roy) Mounce of Manville and Dianne (Joe) Preston of Streator; three granddaughters, Stacey Mounce, Ali (Dave) Johnson and Heather (Jake) Blogg; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, Frank (Kaye) Jones of Ripley, TN.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Harold.

 Cremation rites will be accorded and private graveside will be at a later date in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
