Gerald L. Baldwin

Gerald L. Baldwin, 76 of Streator passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota.

Gerald was born November 8, 1946 in Streator, a son of Elis and Bernadette (Murry) Baldwin.  He married Heidi Huber on January 24, 1970 in Boston, MA. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elis Baldwin and Bernadette Manypenny; and his wife, Heidi Baldwin.

Gerald attended the Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School.  He later graduated from Quincy Technology in 1966.

He served in the US Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Gerald was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, the VFW and a former member of the PNA.

Following Gerald’s wishes, there will be no services.  Cremation rites will be accorded and burial of ashes will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator.  Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of arrangements.
