Henry J. Holt

Henry J. Holt, 68 of Streator passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa.

 A Celebration of Henry’s Life will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Monday, November 4, 2024 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator. Cremation rites will be accorded.

 Henry was born October 3, 1956 in Streator, a son of Carl K. and Bernice (Sibert) Holt.

 He is survived by nieces, Loretta (Steven Sr.) Yurich and Ruth Holt, both of Streator; and great nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Loretta Maggard; and a brother, Kenneth Holt.

 Henry had served in the Army and later the Air Force. He worked as a mechanic for Auto Serv in Streator and would help anyone who needed help fixing their car.

 Henry enjoyed sports and was an avid bowler. He also enjoyed watching racing, especially NASCAR and going to the Fairbury Speedway.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
