Janice J. Newborn

Janice J. Newborn, 85 of Streator passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Streator.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator, with Rev. Rodney Kreier officiating.  Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery, Streator.  Visitation will be from Noon until time of service 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Janice was born March 4, 1937 in Streator, a daughter of Thomas and Mary (Koval) Newborn.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Gloria Newborn of Canonsburg, PA; an aunt, Betty Koval of Streator; a niece; four nephews; numerous cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles John Newborn; and an infant sister, Shirley Ann Newborn.

Janice attended the Streator schools and graduated from Streator High School.  She had worked for Plymouth Tube, retiring on October 7, 1994.
