Joseph Allen Kauth

Joseph Allen Kauth, 60 of Streator passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM Monday, October 31, 2022 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator, with Fr. Austin Bosse officiating.  Cremation rites will follow the mass and burial of ashes will be at a later date in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator. 

Joe was born April 12, 1962 in Streator, a son of John M. and Eva E. (Elias) Kauth.

He is survived by siblings, John Joseph (Dorothy) Kauth, William Joseph (Julie) Kauth, his twin, Mary Ann (Kenneth) Holt, Tina Marie (Dale Shipley) Kauth, and Jacqueline Lynn Kauth all of Streator.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Loretta (Steven) Yurich of Streator.

Joe had worked for the Streator Lanes and Crampton’s Body Shop.  Most of all, Joe was the favorite Uncle, letting the kids do as they pleased while he babysat them.  He was a good person with a kind heart and would give anyone anything if he had it.
