Kathy McAchran

Kathy Jo McAchran, 63 of Streator passed away Thursday (September 9, 2021) at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa.

Cremation rites will be accorded and interment will be in Emory Green Cemetery at a later date.

Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kathy was born December 17, 1957 in Streator, a daughter of Francis H. and Janice M. (Gochanour) Harlacher.  She married Timothy E. McAchran on October 11, 1977 in Streator.  He survives.  Also surviving are 5 children, Danny Stewart, David Stewart, Jeffery McAchran, April McAchran, all of Streator, and Joseph McAchran of Kangley; 9 grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Harlacher of Geneseo and Terry Harlacher of Streator; and five sisters, Brenda (Jim) Lewis, Cheryl (Greg) Drysdale and Marlene (Bob) Horton all of Streator, Debbie Bateson of Clinton and Peggy (Don) Kleppin of Rutland.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Kathy loved her grandchildren very much and would do anything for her kids.  She would be there for anyone who needed help.  She will be deeply missed by all.
