Louise Picker

Louise C. Picker 97 of Streator died Friday evening (Jan. 28, 2011) at Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley Nursing Home, Fenton , Missouri .
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Paul ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church , Streator with Rev. Daniel Stalker, officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Streator.
Mrs. Picker was born July 16, 1913 in Streator the daughter of Rudolph and Helena (Oster) Hamann. She married Herman Picker, Sept. 25, 1935 in Streator. He preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1989.
Louise had been employed as the Financial Secretary at St. Paul ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a member. She was also a member of the Altar Guild and Miriam Circle of her church, the Two for One Club, Streator Women’s Club and a volunteer for the American Red Cross and St. Mary’s Hospital all of Streator.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Reeder, Ballwin MO , one son, Robert (Mary Beth Paton) Picker, Fenton MO , six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two sisters-in-law, Betty Picker, Rockford and Carolyn Hamann, Metamora.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the donor’s choice.
