Manuel Lopez

Manuel C. Lopez, 63, of Streator passed away at 11:59 PM Monday (June 10, 2019) at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Friday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.  The Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Church.  Msgr. Philip Halfacre will officiate.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

He was born on January 6, 1956 in Valencianita, Guanajuato, Mexico to David Vargas Lopez & Maria Del RRefugio Cerda Grando Lopez.

He is survived by his siblings:  J. Guadalupe (Cristina), Mario, Jesus Martin (Delia), David C. (Cynthia), Juan, all of Streator, Maria Concepcion (Le Roy) Long, of Oswego, Soledad (Brian) Holofchak, Elena (Nick) LeBeau, and Jose, all of Streator and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Jose Guadalupe Lopez Carrillo.

He had worked for the Santa Fe Railroad and Thatchers.

Manuel was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church and loved spending time with his family and friends.
