Patricia Mullen

Patricia June Mullen, 68, of Streator passed away suddenly Monday (August 13, 2018) at O.S.F. Center for Health in Streator.

A Celebration of Life will be held from Noon until 4:00 PM Saturday (September 15, 2018) at Marilla Park in Streator.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  The Hagi & Baker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

She was born on May 3, 1950 in Streator to John K. “Jack” & Faye (Sipe) Murphy.  She married Irvin F. Mullen Sr. on May 29, 1969.  He preceded her in death on July 8, 2017.

She is survived by her children:  Marcia (Earl) Hale of Streator, Angela Mullen of Streator, Lawrence Mullen of Streator and Irvin F. (Heather) Mullen Jr. of Chillicothe; grandchildren:  Matthew, Mason and Summer Mills, Daniel, Kenneth, Ryan and Samuel Coon, Kyle Simmons, Zachary Brown, and Christian and Chloe Mullen; 11 great grandchildren:  Siblings:  Kevin Murphy, Kelly Murphy, Mike (Phillis) Murphy Audrey Murphy and Colleen Hjerpe, all of Streator; Kim (Gary) Foristall of Princeton and Terry (Cheryl) Murphy of Manville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings:  Jack Murphy Jr, Janet Murphy and B.J. Murphy.

She graduated from Streator Township High School and retired from Owen’s-Illinois Glass.

She formerly belonged to the Streator Eagles Club Aerie #645.

Her greatest joys were her kids, grandkids and she loved to read and go gambling.
