Paulina Villarreal

STREATOR-  Paulina Villarreal 87 of Streator died Wednesday morning (July 18, 2012) at St. Mary’s Hospital, Streator.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Monsignor Philip Halfacre officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Friday at Hagi Funeral Home with the rosary recited at 4:00 PM Friday. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator.
Mrs. Villarreal was born June 8, 1925 in Brackettville Texas the daughter of Refugio and Juanita (Rodriguez) Hernandez. She married Andres M. Villarreal Dec. 28, 1949 in Del Rio Texas. He preceded her in death July 12, 2011.
Mrs. Villarreal was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Janie (Bob) Behrens and Hilda (Ricardo) Tamez both of Streator, two sons, Bernie (Paula) Villarreal, Ottawa and Bernardo (Rita) Villarreal, East Peoria, eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one sister, Aurora Gonzalez, Uvalde TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Andres Villarreal Jr. two granddaughters, Rakiya Villarreal and Angela Alvarado, two sisters, Maria Salazar and Margaret Hernandez, two brothers Domingo and Fred Hernandez.
Pallbearers will be grandsons John and David Carter, Rick Tamez, Darryl, Jason, Bernardo and Brian Villarreal. Honorary pallbearers will be grandson Frank Carter and granddaughter Angela Alvarado.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
