Raymond Osterdock

STREATOR-  Raymond C. Osterdock 88 of Streator died Monday morning (June 17, 2013) at Heritage Health, Streator.
Private graveside funeral services will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Streator.
There will be no visitation. Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Osterdock was born Sept. 17, 1924 in Streator the son of Charles  and Marguerite (Kraske) Osterdock. He married Delores Redman, May 6, 1950 in Streator. She preceded him in death June 10, 2003.
Ray had been employed as a draftsman at the former Anthony Co., Streator and later was a meat cutter at Bellettini Foods, Seneca and operated a meat shop out of his home prior to retirement. He was a member of American Legion Post # 217, Streator and the National Rifle Association. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy in the Pacific. He attended Streator grade schools and was a graduate of Streator High School, class of 1942 and also attended a draftsman trade school in Chicago.
He is survived by one son, Jerry (Wendy) Osterdock, Manville, one grandson, Jerry Osterdock Jr. Manville and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
