Roseanne Topolski

Roseanne “Rosie” M. Topolski, 91, of Streator passed away at 4:45 AM Wednesday (January 3, 2018) at a private care home in Streator.

A visitation will be held from 11 AM until Noon Saturday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday at the funeral home.  Rev. Raymond Guthrie will officiate.

Interment will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.

She was born on October 14, 1926 in Streator to John & Mary (Chismarick) Voytko.  She married Arthur L. Topolski on April 23, 1946 at St. Stephen’s Church.  He preceded her in death on September 25, 2000.

She is survived by nieces and nephews including Barbara Hammen of Streator and Mike Hammen of Streator.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Artha Gayle Topolski; brothers:  Louis, John and Andy Voytko and a sister, Margaret Woods.

She graduated from St. Stephen’s Grade School and Streator Township High School.

She retired from Owen’s-Illinois Glass.

She was a former member of St. Stephen’s Church and now a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.

She loved to cook and crochet.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
