Steven Paul Faustner, 65, of Streator passed away at 11:50 AM Saturday (June 22, 2019) at O.S.F. Center for Health in Streator.
A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Wednesday and from 10-11 AM Thursday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Ryan Mattingly of St. Michael the Archangel Church will officate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Inman, Dave Stull, Gary Strine, Terry Leonard, Jeff Patton, Gary and Dan Poldek, Al Clark and Benny Price.
He was born on November 17, 1953 in Streator to George & Joan (Reed) Faustner.
He is survived by his mother, Joan Faustner of Streator; siblings: Karen Patton of Streator, Kathy Inman of Streator and Julie (David) Stull of Streator; nieces and nephews: Jeff (Ann) Patton, Corey Inman, Christopher Patton, Kerri (Nick) Libby, Jaime (Patrick) Duffy and Derek Stull and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Steven graduated from Streator Township High School in 1972. He had worked for Prairie Farms and retired from U.S. Foods as a truck driver.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 174, the Streator Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #591, the Streator Eagles Aerie 645, was a charter member of the Vermillion Boat Club, co-owner of Crow Creek Duck Club and a member of Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever.
He loved to hunt especially duck hunting, fish, go boating and was an avid outdoorsman.
