William Schultz

William H. Schultz, 87 of Streator passed away Friday morning (April 14, 2016) at Miller Rehabilitation in Kankakee.
There will be a graveside service with military rites at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Riverview Cemetery, Streator, with Fr. Jacob Rose officiating.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OSF Hospice.
Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born June 18, 1928 in Streator, the son of William and Janet Porteous Schultz.  He was a lifelong resident of Streator and was a Korean War Veteran, having served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952.  He worked at Owens Illinois Glass for 33 years retiring in 1986.
He loved to travel and especially loved his family.
He is survived by a niece, Janet Crenshaw of Aroma Park and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Edith and LeRoy Clark.
